Product description
A late-maturing hybrid for highland zones (roughly 1,800–2,400 m) with long, reliable rains — such as Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Nyandarua. Tall, vigorous plants with good standability and tolerance to common leaf diseases.
Supplied in sealed, certified packs with treated seed for protection during establishment.
How to use
- 1Plant at the onset of long rains into moist, well-prepared soil.
- 2Apply planting fertiliser in the furrow and cover with soil before placing seed.
- 3Top-dress with nitrogen at knee height (about 6 weeks).
- 4Scout weekly for fall armyworm in the first 6 weeks.
Questions about this product
Can I plant this in mid-altitude areas?
It will grow, but maturity will be slower and it may not finish in shorter seasons. Choose a medium-maturity variety for mid-altitude areas.
Can I replant seed from my harvest?
No. Hybrid seed from your harvest will not perform like the original — yield can fall by a third or more. Buy fresh certified seed each season.
How long does delivery take?
