Product description

A balanced concentrate for lactating dairy cows on Napier, maize silage or pasture-based diets. Supplies the energy, protein and minerals that fodder alone cannot, so high-potential cows can milk to their genetics.

Feed to yield — cows giving more milk get more meal — for the best return on every bag.

How to use

  1. 1Feed about 1 kg for every 2 litres of milk above the first 5–7 litres from fodder.
  2. 2Split between morning and evening milking; don't exceed ~4 kg in a single feed.
  3. 3Always offer clean water — a cow needs 4–5 litres of water per litre of milk.

Questions about this product

Can dry cows eat dairy meal?

Give dry cows a small steaming-up ration in the last 2–3 weeks before calving; most of the dry period should be fodder and minerals.

Is this suitable for goats?

Dairy goats can be fed dairy meal at a lower rate, around 0.5 kg per litre of milk. Ask us about a dedicated goat ration.

How long does delivery take?

Nairobi orders usually arrive the same or next working day; most other counties within 1–4 working days. Delivery is free on orders over Ksh 15,000 in selected areas, or collect from our store.
